Speech Our students' clinical education is enhanced by the diversity of the faculty. Clinical expertise of the speech-language faculty includes articulation and phonology, augmentative and alternative communication, child language (infants, limited language, PDD and school-aged literacy), diagnostics, dysfluency, dysphagia, geriatrics, laryngectomy, multi-cultural issues, neurogenics and voice. Faculty are typically involved in both academic and clinical teaching.
Audiology Clinical expertise of the audiology faculty includes evoked potential testing, vestibular testing, pediatric testing, forensic audiology, newborn hearing screening, musician's earplugs for hearing conservation, central auditory processing, management of the hearing impaired, and hearing aid evaluation and fitting. All audiology faculty supervise graduate students in the hearing clinic.
