The mission of the Human Development
Center of the department of Interdisciplinary
Human Studies is to promote knowledge and practices related to
enhancing the realization of human potential. Occupational
Therapy is a health and rehabilitation profession that helps
people regain, develop, and build skills that are important for independent
functioning. The School of Allied Health Professions in
conjunction with the Department
of Ophthalmology provide professional preparation leading to
a bachelor of science degree in ophthalmic medical technology.
The Department
of Physical Therapy offers an entry level Doctor of Physical
Therapy (DPT) degree for persons interested in becoming a Physical Therapist.
Rehabilitation
Professionals are concerned with the psychological, social,
vocational, and educational barriers experienced by persons unable to
function as independently as possible because of a disability.
Graduate Education
The
Master of Health Sciences Degree is intended to prepare allied
health professionals for career enhancement by providing advanced
interdisciplinary education in clinical practices, research and scholarly
