prepares entry-level occupational therapy practitioners
to evaluate and facilitate intervention with clients in order to
help them regain, develop, and build skills that are important
for maximal participation in everyday life.
Department of Physical Therapy trains students to
diagnose and treat individuals of all ages with health-related
conditions that limit movement and functional activities.
Department of Rehabilitation Counseling
prepares students to work with persons who have
physical, cognitive, emotional, or behavioral disabilities to
achieve vocational and psychosocial satisfaction by maximizing
their potential and eliminating barriers to their full
participation in life.
The Physician
Assistant Program
provides entry-level education for individuals preparing for a
career as a Physician Assistant. Physician Assistants
provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services as
a member of a physician-led health care team. They can be
found in the primary care specialties of family medicine,
internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology,
PAs can be found practicing in many medical surgical
subspecialties including, but not limited to oncology,
endocrinology, rheumatology, plastic and reconstructive surgery,
dermatology, interventional radiology and radiotherapy.
