Thuha (Ha) Hoang received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1995 and a Master of Health Science degree with an emphasis on education in 2007 from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences

For eight years, Ha worked as a staff physical therapist at the Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans providing inpatient therapy services. She joined the LSUHSC clinical faculty in 2003 as a senior physical therapist and worked in the acute care setting. During this time, she assisted the MPT program as a lab assistant and group facilitator in several courses. She has been a clinical instructor for 13 years in the BSPT and MPT programs at LSUHSC. 

Ha joined the faculty at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in September 2007 as the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education. Her teaching responsibilities include Clinical Education components of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, as well as assisting in teaching in Evidence Based Physical Therapy Practice I & II, Pathophysiology, and Cardiopulmonary courses.

She currently works in clinical practice as a staff physical therapist in the acute care setting at the LSU-Interim Hospital in New Orleans.
