Kayla Sliman, MPT
Clinical Instructor
Kayla Sliman graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in May, 2000. She graduated from the LSUHSC Department of Physical Therapy in August, 2002. Since her graduation, Kayla has been working as a staff physical therapist at the Medical Center of Louisiana-New Orleans, Charity and University campuses. She is currently a clinical instructor teaching Modalities and assists in Cardiopulmonary and Rehabilitation. She recently presented "The Effectiveness of an Accommodative Dressing in Off-loading Pressure Over Areas of Previous Metatarsal Head Ulceration" at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in Tampa, Florida. Additionally, her abstract was published in Wounds. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Louisiana Physical Therapy Association.
