Chelsea Mitchell, B.S., is a graduate student at Xavier University of Louisiana.  She is seeking a Master’s of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2016. She is currently a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA), and Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) International Honor Society.  She is honored to continue her gaining education and experience at LSU’s Child and Family Counseling Clinic, where her main focus areas are in individual child play therapy, group play therapy, and family play therapy. After graduation, she plans to seek licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).
