Nyeshia Harris, B.S. is an intermediate therapy practicum student here at the Child and Family Counseling Clinic. She graduated from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology - XULA. Nyeshia is a member of the Louisiana Psychological Association (LPA) and American Psychological Association (APA). Her interests involve treating families, trauma patients, and underserved communities. In the past, Nyeshia received firsthand experience with patients as a mental health technician and recently she completed various psychological evaluations on her diagnostic practicum. Nyeshia hopes to acquire both knowledge and experience working with young patients and their families this year.
