Brianna Barrios, M.H.S., PLPC, NCC  earned her Master of Health Sciences degree from LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans in May 2017. Brianna holds a provisional license with the Louisiana LPC Board of Examiners and is a National Certified Counselor. Brianna is currently pursuing a certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). She is member of both the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and Chi Sigma Iota International Honor Society. Brianna completed her practicum and internship within a school setting, providing both individual and group services to school age children. She will continue to work as a school counselor at a local parochial school in addition to her work here in the clinic. Her areas of focus at the LSUHSC Child & Family Counseling Clinic include individual play therapy, group play therapy, filial therapy, and talk therapy with children, adolescents, and families.
