Briana Stigger, M.A., PLPC, NCC  earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana. She holds a provisional license with the Louisiana Board of Examiners and holds a national certification as a National Certified Counselor. She is pursuing full licensure (LPC) and certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).   She is a member of American Counseling Association (ACA), Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA) and Association for Play Therapy (APT). Briana completed her practicum and internship experiences at LSU Child and Family Counseling Clinic, providing individual play therapy, group play therapy, family play therapy, and talk therapy with children, adolescents, and families. She has past experiences in working with children with mental and behavior disorders at a residential treatment facility; serving as an academic advisor to young adults pursuing undergraduate studies; and providing ABA therapy to children who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition to providing ongoing clinical services at LSU Child and Family Counseling Clinic, Briana serves as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant with Children’s Bureau of New Orleans, servicing childcare centers across the Greater New Orleans Area.
