  • LSUHSC Department of Medical Laboratory Science is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the Clinical Laboratory Personnel Committee of the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.

  • These continuing education seminars are also accepted for BOC Credential Maintenance Program (CMP) credit by the ASCP Board of Certification.

  • LSUHSC Department of Medical Laboratory Science is providing the 2022 continuing education seminars for licensed personnel sponsored by the Clinical Laboratory Personnel Committee (CLPC). The Distance Learning Seminar is co-sponsored by North Louisiana AHEC and LSUHSC Telemedicine. These seminars are offered FREE only for individuals who hold a CURRENT Louisiana CLP license.

  • If you are unsure if your license is current, you may check your licensure status on-line. Go to the LSBME website at LSBME license verification. Enter your information and click "search." You can then download and print the licensure status.

  • LSBME will only accept CE credits from CE Broker for licensure. For more information, go to LSBME content renewals. You will need to have a CE Broker account in order for the CLPC CE credit to be issued. CE certificates will NOT be printed, mailed, or e-mailed directly to participants!

  • CE sessions will be provided live via Zoom one time with the presenter. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions after the seminar.

  • Session will be recorded during the live presentation and posted on CE Broker for use on-demand at a later date. To obtain CE credit for on-demand seminars, participants will be required to take a post-test based on the seminar. Seminars can be found at this link.

    4. Be sure you have downloaded the Zoom application to your computer, tablet, or smartphone PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE SESSION.
