Ms. Willis's position does not formally include research and scholarship responsibilities for the current performance period. However, her efforts to incorporate evidence-based practices into her clinical teaching and mentorship reflect a commitment to scholarly principles that enhance student learning and clinical service.

Service (Departmental, School, Institution, Professional Organizations):

Ms. Willis has played a critical role in expanding clinical service opportunities for students by coordinating screenings and maintaining external relationships with local schools, particularly through the St. Catherine contract. Her ability to manage school partnerships, student scheduling, and result dissemination has been instrumental in providing valuable hands-on experiences for both speech-language pathology and audiology students. Additionally, she serves as a liaison between the department and public and private schools, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high-quality service standards. Beyond her external outreach, Michelle also actively participates in departmental and school-wide events, such as open house, admissions interviews, and the White Coat Ceremony. Her work in managing the department’s social media presence further strengthens engagement with students, alumni, and the broader community. Note: Ms. Willis is an 80% FTE.
