Domonique Green (formerly Stephen) is joining the clinic under the supervision of Dr. Dugan from Xavier University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program for her practicum this Spring. Her academic journey began at Howard University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Psychology with a Criminal Justice minor. She’s always had a passion for youth advocacy and helping young individuals dissect the world around them. With this, her background includes roles in daycare centers, psychiatric hospitals, and ABA facilities. She believes in inclusive safe spaces for all individuals to freely navigate their developmental and healing journeys with curiosity and acceptance of their personal uniqueness. Her areas of interest include Play Therapy, Person-Centered, CBT, Reality, and more. In her free time, she enjoys outings with her family, reading, yoga, traveling, and creating in Canva. She’s eager to apply her academic knowledge to real-world settings while gaining hands-on experience and skillset from mastered professionals within the field.
