Brandi Bayard is currently an intern at the LSU Health Sciences Center’s Child and Family Counseling Clinic, where she works under the supervision of Dr. Holly Walters. Her clinical focus is on serving the adult population, utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques in both individual and group therapy settings. Previously she worked in the event industry for 15 years. Her own therapeutic journey inspired a deep passion for mental health and a meaningful career change. She is driven by a desire to help clients build resilience, gain insight, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Brandi in her garden, on her yoga mat, hunting for secondhand treasures, or relaxing with one of her (very cute) cats. She and her partner enjoy camping, going to the farmer's market, and trying new restaurants around town.
