Rowan Quarterman, MS is the new Clinical Operations Coordinator at the Child & Family Counseling Clinic. They help keep things running smoothly by managing scheduling, answering phones and emails, and making sure patients and families feel supported from their very first interaction with the clinic.
Always curious about the world around them, Rowan holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies—with a focus on Sociology, Psychology, and Anthropology—from the University of New Orleans, as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University. They’re passionate about helping create a welcoming, organized environment where families can feel comfortable and cared for. Their educational background reflects a strong commitment to understanding individuals within their broader social and cultural contexts. They have always excelled in remaining a present and empathetic person.
Outside of the clinic, Rowan loves getting lost in a good book (currently enjoying The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion and Survival Takes a Wild Imagination by Fariha Roisin), playing guitar, and practicing French. You may catch them wandering around city park (with the tell-tale signs of enthusiastic beignet consumption), or huddled in a café devouring books and lavender lattes. They speak a little Spanish, French, and an amusing amount of Serbian-Croatian. Zdravo!
