Zachary Wilson comes to counseling after two decades in journalism and media leadership. He is currently a Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Mental Health Counseling candidate at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans, where his clinical interests include working with adults, couples, grief, and LGBTQIA+ clients in the Deep South. Zac completed his practicum at River Oaks Hospital and is now an intern at the LSU Health Children and Family Counseling Clinic, under the supervision of Dr. Deborah Allsbrook. Additionally, he is completing a couples counseling internship at Neutral Ground Healing, under the supervision of Josienne Goodrow. Originally from the Jackson, Mississippi, area, Zac has lived on all three U.S. coasts, including time in Los Angeles and nearly a decade in New York City. He has called New Orleans home for eight years and currently lives in the Bywater neighborhood with his partner and their 10-year-old French Bulldog, Priscilla Presley.
