Research and Scholarship:
I have just concluded a scoping review on the impact of societal stigma on employment
outcomes for autistic adults as part of the capstone requirement for my post-professional
clinical doctorate program. Looking ahead, I am particularly interested in advancing
research in several key areas: emotional regulation interventions for children in
community settings such as schools and after-school programs; trauma-informed occupational
interventions for children with disabilities in collaboration with community
partners; and feeding interventions for children with eating disorders, focusing on a trauma-informed occupational perspective.

Clinical Expertise/Interests:
I have worked as an occupational therapist for 22 years. During that time, I have
gained experience in
various settings and with different populations, including acute care, inpatient rehab, NICU, and outpatient
rehab, where I have assisted a diverse range of clients with neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation
needs. I obtained my lymphedema certification in 2004 and my hand therapy certification in 2011, and I
have applied those skills in outpatient rehab settings. Most recently, I have focused my efforts on the care
of pediatric clients through my work at an outpatient pediatric clinic.
