PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

The Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree is designed as an entry level clinical master degree program for students who possess a baccalaureate degree and prerequisite course work.

The LSUHSC Department of Occupational Therapy MOT degree program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), located at 6116 Executive Boulevard, Suite 200, North Bethesda, MD 20852-4249. OT Prospective Students

INFORMATION SESSIONS

For individuals interested in applying for admission to the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program, we offer group Information Sessions. An OT faculty member will facilitate a one-hour session on the first Friday of January through June, October, and November. Information sessions begin promptly at 1:00 PM CST. 

The 2024 dates are as follows: January 5, February 2, March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7, October 4, and November 1.

Information Sessions are held in the OT Department, 1900 Gravier Street, Room 8A12, and a Zoom option is available. Click the link below to register for an Information Session

2024 APPLICANT INTERVIEW DATES

The interview dates for persons applying for admission to the class starting January of 2025, will be Thurs. Aug. 8 and Fri. Aug. 9, 2024. Applying to the program does not guarantee an invitation to interview. See Admissions Guidebook below for more information.
