Department of Communication Disorders

Research and creative scholarship is an integral part of the university and department's mission.  Graduate students are strongly encouraged to pursue research in collaboration with a faculty advisor or mentor.  Students enrolled in the Master of Communication Disorder program have the opportunity to complete a thesis option.  This option will require students to complete an original research project that contributes to the scientific literature that is of publishable quality.  The Doctor of Audiology students are required to complete a “Research Experience” which may consist of working on an independent research project or completing a literature review.

Following are publications and presentations from students in the Department of Communication Disorders since 2010. (Underlined names are students.)
