Virtual Information Sessions
The Department of Cardiopulmonary Science is currently hosting virtual information sessions by Zoom for prospective students and college advisors. Participants receive information on the fields of respiratory therapy and cardiovascular sonography, pertaining in particular to the scope of practice of each profession and employment opportunities available in the area and beyond. Additional topics covered include admission requirements, application process, curriculum, and schedules, along with other aspects of student life. Sessions also include a tour of the department and other student areas on campus. - We welcome you to send for review a copy of an unofficial or official transcript from each university that you have attended or are currently attending. Once reviewed, we will notify you of your calculated prerequisite GPAs (overall and science) and of any missing prerequisites.
- Course listings from Louisiana universities and colleges, which meet our prerequisites, are available upon request.
