The Department of Cardiopulmonary Science offers information sessions for prospective students and college advisors. Information about the fields of respiratory therapy and cardiovascular sonography is provided, pertaining in particular to the scope of practice of each profession and employment opportunities available in the area and beyond. In addition, the admission requirements, curriculum and schedule are discussed in detail, along with other aspects of student life, and a tour of the department and other student areas is provided. Residence hall visits are available with advance notification.
Prior to the information session, we welcome you to send us for review a copy of an unofficial or official transcript from each university that you have attended or are currently attending. This will enable us to have a record of prerequisite courses taken. Once reviewed, we will notify you of missing prerequisites (if any).
