Welcome to the School of Allied Health Professions (SAHP) Faculty Assembly website. The Faculty Assembly is composed of nine delegates representing the diverse academic and clinical programs within the School of Allied Health Professions. Elected by SAHP faculty, the Assembly serves as a collective voice on behalf of faculty by working collaboratively with school leadership and administration. To support this mission, the Faculty Assembly meets monthly on the first Thursday of each month from noon to 1:00 p.m. in a hybrid format, with guests encouraged to attend meetings in person. Faculty Assembly meetings are open to all SAHP faculty, and approved meeting minutes are posted on this website.

This year, the SAHP Faculty Assembly looks forward to supporting faculty professional development, advancing the School’s new strategic plan, strengthening collaboration with academic departments, and continuing the tradition of hosting twice-yearly all-faculty meetings. The Assembly also remains committed to recognizing excellence among our faculty through annual awards. We encourage all SAHP faculty members to engage with the Faculty Assembly by attending meetings, connecting with a delegate, or reaching out directly at SAHPFacultyAssembly@lsuhsc.edu. The Delegates of the Faculty Assembly are honored to serve and welcome your ideas, feedback, and participation as we work together to support the mission and future of the School of Allied Health Professions.
