The Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) is responsible for a variety of support functions, helping students, faculty, and administration. The OAA works with the School of Allied Health Professions (SAHP) Academic Affairs Committee to oversee curricular design and ensure alignment of each program with accreditation standards of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The OAA supports program proposals, revisions, and academic innovation.

The OAA manages grade appeals and student conduct related to academics and is a repository for student accommodation letters.
