PEER TUTORING (KNACK)
Faculty Peer Tutor/Tutoring Referrals:
LSU Health New Orleans has partnered with Knack to provide peer tutoring support for students who may benefit from additional academic assistance. Through Knack, students can connect with trained peer tutors who have demonstrated success in specific courses and can provide course-based support, study strategies, and guidance.
TUTORING REFERRALS
Faculty are encouraged to refer students who may be struggling academically, would benefit from supplemental instruction, or are seeking additional support to enhance their learning and academic performance.
To refer a student for tutoring, please email epierc@lsuhsc.edu and include:
- Student name
- Student email address
- Course requiring support
Early referrals can help students access resources before academic challenges become barriers to success.
TUTOR REFERRALS
Faculty can also refer students to become tutors. They can earn an hourly rate of $15.hour. They must have earned a B or higher in the course. To submit a student be become a tutor please click here
